Omnisend for SureCart

Integrate SureCart with Omnisend to power your store with personalized email & SMS automations, boost conversions, and easily grow your revenue. Whether you sell physical products, digital downloads, or subscriptions, this integration gives you the tools to follow up with your customers and keep them engaged.

Installation Process

Step 1. Log in to your Omnisend account and click "Connect store" in the dashboard.

Then, choose the platform as the next step.

Once selected, copy the API key and head to your WordPress admin.

Step 2. Once in your WordPress admin, make sure you have the SureCart plugin installed along with the Omnisend WordPress plugin and the Omnisend for SureCart Add-On.

Step 3. Proceed to the Omnisend WordPress plugin and paste the API key you copied earlier from Omnisend.

Once done, you should see a success message.

Step 4. Then, go back to Omnisend and click "Check API connection" under the API key field to finalize the connection from the Omnisend end.

Please note that you will currently see an "Other" type of platform connection in your Omnisend store brand. This is expected behavior. Soon, it will be changed so that you can see a "SureCart" type of connection there.

That's it! You have now connected your SureCart store to Omnisend. You'll have an option to add your Brand Assets. After that, you'll land on the Dashboard page, meaning the integration has been enabled successfully.


What Data is Passed from SureCart to Omnisend?

  • Contacts with "source: surecart" tag.

    • You can edit consent management settings for your SureCart → Omnisend integration here:

    • If the consent management box is unchecked at the checkout, the contact will be passed to Omnisend as non-subscribed. You can find more info on contact statuses in Omnisend here.

  • Products and their collections.

  • Added to cart and started checkout events.

  • Orders (placed, paid, fulfilled, canceled, refunded order events).

When you first connect your SureCart store to Omnisend, we'll sync the contacts you already have from your admin along with their historical orders. Please note that we'll sync only the placed order events for your historical orders.
